Frozen Dune Rolled Ice Cream

The owner of the Frozen Dune restaurant was first introduced to Thailand’s fried ice cream in New York City. This unique frozen dessert immediately became popular in the northeastern United States in 2015.
While living in Destin, the owner missed the delicious ice cream treat, so he decided to bring this delicacy to the Emerald Coast.
To make fried ice cream, a mixture is poured onto a freezing metal plate, where it freezes up in less than a minute. Your choice of toppings are added to the frozen mixture. The fried ice cream can be piled for scooping or smoothed flat for scraping into curls or rolls.
Having managed a sushi restaurant for several years, the owner also decided to offer sushi rolls to the Frozen Dune’s menu. Smoothies are another tasty menu option.
The owner, Alex, is excited to introduce you to fried ice cream! Visit Frozen Dune, at 2052 Scenic Drive, in Miramar Beach!
